Culprate - αριθμός τέσσερα

CD sleeve cover art

αριθμός τέσσερα is John Hislop's (Culprate's) fourth album, following Deliverance, which it is also a sequel to.

The album was announced with the launch of its crowdfunding page on Indiegogo on 29 November 2019 with a projected releases date of July 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic starting in December 2019, the album was put on hold indefinitely as Hislop struggled with the worldwide lockdown.

After nearly two years, Hislop posted a teaser for the album on his SoundCloud account on 5 April 2022, revealing the album artwork, which was illustrated by returning artist Thomas McNulty.

On 10 April 2022, it was released as a digital download to people who had contributed to the album crowdfunder, with a public release still to be confirmed.

αριθμός τέσσερα meaning 'Number Four' in Greek is a nod to the album being Culprate's fourth full length album released.
