Cotti (real name: Richard Bowes) is an electronic music producer and DJ from Brixton, London. Cotti uses a fusion of multiple genres in his music such as reggae, grime, dancehall, hip hop, rythym & blues as well as his own signature bassline.

Biography[]

Cotti became involved in the dubstep scene around 2005/2006. With Cluekid, Cotti released Sensi Dub which became #4 on UKG chart in May 2007. In addition to Sensi Dub, Cotti also released "I Don't Give a Dub" (championized by Mala/DMZ) and "Calm Down (ft. Doctor), the latter having sold over two thousand vinyl copies. Cotti also produced "Rise the Temperature (ft. Doctor), which acted as the debut release for Chase & Status's label, MTA Records, in 2009.

Cotti has had the opportunity to work/collab with various artists including: Cluekid, Jim Jones, Skepta, P Money, D Double E, Big Narstie, Maxta, Kozzie, Jammer, Coki, Kromestar, Nitin Sahwney, Skream, and Dub Pistols.
