KillSonik

KillSonik (formerly, Chasing Shadows) was a duo between Joe Erskine and Luca Gulotta. From 2017, it became the solo project for Erskine, before being retired in 2023.

Chasing Shadows was a legendary duo that made banger after banger until late 2012 when they went on a hiatus that would lead to the cancellation of the project and the birth of Killsonik; a much more varied and experimental project that allowed the duo flex their musical muscles much more.

Killsonik went on somewhat of a hiatus for unknown reasons in late 2013, only having production credits on 2 tracks on The Prodigy's 2015 album The Day Is My Enemy, as well as remixing one of those tracks, Wild Frontier. Killsonik resurfaced in 2017 with a new single for UKF Dubstep's 2017 compilation, Never Dream Of Dying. Sometime between 2015 and 2017, Gulotta left the duo for unknown reasons, leaving Erskine as the sole member. In 2019, Killsonik returned for their final single, Daggers, featured on the UKF 10 compilation.

In 2023, Erskine announced he would be stopping producing under the Killsonik name, as he felt it was always supposed to be a joined project between him and Gulotta, and he didn't feel like he was completely producing on his own. He has since started his own solo project, RUINNA.
