ShockOne was originally a duo consisting of Jay Burns and Karl Thomas from Perth, Australia. They'd been in a metal band with Rob Swire & Gareth McGrillen, and after they left to form Pendulum, Jay & Karl formed Shock One. Later Jay Burns left Shock One, leaving just Karl Thomas.
